I just double-clicked the Pollux application icon. What do I do now?For Mac: Look for the Pollux music note icon in your status bar (the top right portion of your screen).
For Windows: Look for the Pollux music note icon in your system tray (the bottom right portion of your screen).
You can use that icon to operate Pollux (tag songs, activate your purchase, etc).
Pollux says my activation key is invalid. What do I do?
Close Pollux. Then delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Pollux. Open Pollux, and try activating again. If it still doesn't work, email Pollux support.
Pollux says "No tracks were selected" even though I've selected tracks in iTunes. What do I do?
Update your iTunes to the latest version. If it still doesn't work, email Pollux support.
Pollux in Windows keeps crashing. What do I do?
Download and run this program:

Then, restart your computer and try to use Pollux again. If it still keeps crashing, email Pollux support.
Will Pollux overwrite all my existing album art?
Pollux is very configurable, and you can set the preference to not have it overwrite your album art. Just open preferences by clicking on the Pollux music note icon, and click the Tagging tab to set the preference.
Does Pollux write information to the song files themselves so that I can move the files to a different computer and still have the correctly tagged information?
Yes. Songs tagged by Pollux are permanently tagged, and moving them out of iTunes does not lose tag information.
